SeaWorld Abu Dhabi
Polar Ocean
SeaWorld Abu Dhabi was a 10+ year project, to which I worked on mainly for nearly 4 years. Its mission is to teach guests about conservation and how we are all part of the One Ocean. Portals allow guests to be transported to different oceans where they can meet animal ambassadors, explore interactive play areas and experiences, and learn more about our One Ocean.

Polar Ocean is one of the largest areas of the park and is compromised of Antarctic Ocean, Arctic Ocean, and the Armillary - the connecting portal between the two poles.

In Antarctic Ocean you get to physically walk into the world's largest penguin habitat, home to 5 species of penguins. There is a hatchery and rescue center for the birds, as well as tons of interactive elements to explore.

My role on this area was Lead graphic designer. I created about 100 graphics and signage elements for this area, as well as many custom illustrations and murals. I worked from concept to final artwork to ensure that everything was fabricated as intended and installed properly. Additionally I worked with teammates to ensure that the storytelling was consistent and helped develop thematic elements.
